This contemporary studio is beautifully set in South Queensferry with the famous Forth Bridges to the front and scenic railway trail to the rear. Architecturally designed it offers the style of a boutique hotel with the convenience of self catering and is ideally suited to accommodate a couple or young family.
The picturesque seaside town is less than 10 miles from Edinburgh city centre and has excellent transport links. Dalmeny Station is within the town, Edinburgh airport is approximately 3 miles away, the M8 to Glasgow, M9 to Stirling and M90 North are all on the doorstep.
A short walk from the Nook will bring you onto the cobbled High Street with its elevated terraces, quaint shops, boutique hotels and restaurants, and of course access to the shore. Moving off the high street and you will find shops and amenities close at hand to cater for your daily needs.
The turf (sedum) roof and design helps the studio to nestle into the hillside and blend with the terraced gardens it overlooks. Whilst holding a position that allows stunning panoramic views it is secluded from the road above and only reveals its garden, deck and expansive glass front once you have descended the stone stairs from Stoney Croft Road that lead to ‘The Nook’.
